ReMIX08 Sydney - Expression Studio 2 is here :)
Posted by Chris May 24th, 2008 in Events, SoftwareThis week I went to Sydney’s ReMIX08, held on Tuesday at the Powerhouse Museum.
What’s ReMIX, I hear you ask:
REMIX08 is your opportunity to experience all that is new in Silverlight 2, Expression 2, Internet Explorer 8, Windows Live and a host of other great web technologies coming fast and furious from Microsoft. You will also see how local Australian innovators are creating the next generation of engaging websites and unprecedented user experiences for the web.
Some of the more technical stuff went straight over my head, but what will stick with me from Tuesday was a couple of the presentations on Expression Studio 2! I might even be convinced to give www.cyberbullying.info a makeover, especially I now have my hands on a copy of Expression Studio 2! There are vast improvements over Expression Studio 1, if you’ve tried it out!
There were also some other great sessions covering Windows Live, Silverlight and Microsoft Virtual Earth! I didn’t realise how good Microsoft Virtual Earth was! Make sure you check out (Sydney) city using ‘Bird’s Eye View’…

Thanks to Nick Hodge, check out:

(When) will Expression Studio 2 be being added to MSDNAA for download?
Hey Matt,
Quick answer: I don’t know.
I checked out both MSDN:AA and the full MSDN subscription on the weekend, and neither of them have Expression Studio 2 up there. The Expression website still has the beta 2 version available for download as well. I’m following it up, and will have an answer at the talk next Tuesday
