Deal of the Week – Alien Hominid HD (XBLA)

This week is a pretty awesome week for Xbox Live Arcade, not only is Dishwasher Dead Samurai coming out (see future post), but the Deal of the Week is currently running for an arcade game, and the savings have been increased to 50% off.

This week Alien Hominid HD is available on Xbox Live Arcade for 400 points, a saving of 50%, down from 800 points.

Check out the first game from The Behemoth (Creators of Castle Crashers), and the first Xbox Live Arcade title I bought (don’t regret buying it then). The game is a really funny and addictive 2D side scrolling shooter, with a Newgrounds flash game style to it. (Although graphically much cleaner and professional)

In fact the game was based off a Newgrounds game by the same developers, who then took the game, improved it greatly, and brought it to XBLA.
