Silverlight 3 and Expression 3

Just last night Silverlight 3 was officially released to the public for general use, along with a new Silverlight website, a virtual launch (SeeTheLight) and the Expression Blend 3 RC (with Sketchflow!).

The new features in Silverlight 3 include, but are not limited to:

• Support for MPEG4 H.264/AAC
• Full 720p+ support
• GPU accelerated HD playback
• Perspective 3D graphics
• Shaders (Pixel)
• Themed applications
• SEO
• Deep Linking
• Out of Browser capabilities (Install to desktop)

Be sure to update to Silverlight 3 and give Expression Blend 3 a try.

• Sample Data generation built in
• Behaviours (interactivity without code)
