Right on time, the Visual Studio 2010 beta has been released to the public. You can grab the beta bits (Including the .Net Framework 4.0 beta) from http://www.microsoft.com/visualstudio/en-us/products/2010/default.mspx. Some more screenshots have emerged over at neowin.net from the latest internal Technical Preview of Microsoft Office 2010. Looks like the key thing to notice aside from the dramatic colour change is that Outlook now uses the ribbon in the inbox, bringing that particular part of the Office suite up to date visually.
